First off, thanks to listener/reader Ron Fowler who pointed out to me that Justin Fargas was not ranked on the RB list from last night. This is what happens when you finish things late at night with Robot Chicken in the background.
My apologies. I will re update it HOWEVER I'll just lay it out here for you - and add a rerank on Tashard Choice. I would move him back to about 32/33 - the whole alleged Owens/Witten near-fight has me worried the Cowboys are imploding and Romo might pass a ton to try and placate everyone with or without Barber in. So I'm not hot on Choice - I mean even less than I was before. I know he had a good week last week. I get it. Just really worried about him this week.
I would plug Fargas in at about 30. He's good for yards against a bend but don't break run defense but as the Pats have given up only 7 TDs (4 to Ronnie Brown in one day and three the whole rest of the season) you can't depend upon getting one tomorrow. So figure between 60-80 yards (maybe a little more if the Raiders stay close) - a TD or somethign would be gravy.
Thanks again Ronald - good looking out.

Updated WR Rankings
So LJ Smith has been ruled out for tomorrow and Jason Avant may not go - this makes DeSean Jackson a much better play than I had him ranked. Even with Kevin Curtis probably getting more looks. Either Jackson or Reggie Brown could end up in the slot if Avant is out, and regardless, I think Smith being down for the count will improve Jackson's prospects. So I have rejiggered the rankings this morning - highlighting where I put Jackson. Right now it's the only change I have right now - the rest should be fine.

Morning Update
Darren McFadden says (per NFLN) he doesn't know if he can start and whether he will need a shot for pain in that foot..... Adrian Peterson came out for warmups, not sure if he will start but he will play - they may keep him on a short leash because the way he is, he'll play way beyond when his body should..... Sidney Rice will NOT play...... Laurence Maroney is always a question mark and now I am hearing conflicting reports as to whether he plays or not - paging Sammy Morris, to the white courtesy phone..... Joey Galloway, Devin Hester are out making the Tampa/Chicago game a little less interesting....
More as I hear it....

Last minute morning game stuff
Greg Camerillo (Miami)
Greg Camarillo will start Miami's season opener over Derek Hagan so it's Ginn, Camarillo and Bess as the slot.
Willis McGahee
Willis McGahee (knee) is active for Week 1, as expected. I said it repeatedly - sit McGahee and Rice.
Reggie Williams
Williams is active - I don't know I would throw him out there this week coming off an injury and being Reggie Williams who is inconsistently inconsistent.
Meanwhile the Jags declared WR Jerry Porter, WR Mike Walker, CB Scott Starks, RB Chauncey Washington, CB Isaiah Gardner, C Brad Meester, DT Derek Landri, and OT Charles Spencer inactive. How bad does that Porter signing look for right now?
That's about for now - more before the second games - good luck to all. I will be taking my fantasy hat off and donning my Favre Jets jersey for the next few hours!
