The Associated Press is reporting that Ohio State running back Chris 'Beanie' Wells will be playing this weekend when the Buckeyes face the Trojans at the LA Coliseum.
Wells, who has been plagued by nagging injuries throughout his college career, hurt his foot against Youngstown State in the opener and sat out the game against Ohio University last weekend.
I have to wonder, given how bad the ground game was against OU, if maybe Wells got held out because OSU figured they would roll Ohio. If that's the case they almost overthought themselves and lost the game - they lost ground as it is because of the poor performance.
It's still a critical game for both teams - maybe even moreso. If OSU loses, that's all she wrote for National Championship purposes in all likelyhood. One thing Ohio State has issues with is winning the big game when it counts the last few years. Now or never guys.
They'll definitely have all their weapons now and I think USC wouldn't have it any other way.
